Skoda’s all-electric SUV and the first production model based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric car platform have arrived in the UK. From today Skoda started selling the new electric SUV in the UK market with prices starting at Â£ 31,995 (around Rs 33.06 lakh). Skoda Enyaq iV is available in two variants – Enyaq iV 60 Nav and Enyaq iV 80 with 62 kWh and 82 kWh batteries respectively. For customization, Skoda offers six design selections ranging from – Loft, Lodge, Lounge, Suite, ecoSuite and SportLine, all with distinctive interior looks and materials.
Under the Lease & Care program for electric cars offered by Skoda Financial Services, an individual can rent the Skoda Enyaq iV bundled into after-sales packages with a monthly payment model. Potential customers can choose an initial deposit which can be as small as a monthly payment or choose their annual mileage and select their duration of 24, 36, or 48 months. Customers can then customize their plan by choosing one of three after-sales support plans, such as – Small, Medium, or Large.
The small package covers essential maintenance, a dedicated 24/7 service, including troubleshooting, recovery and glass maintenance. While the Medium package adds all the routine maintenance items, including brake, suspension and cooling system repairs, electrical system maintenance, and all fluid top-ups. The Large package includes tire replacement and wheel alignment (due to normal wear and tear), puncture repair, wheel geometry check and wheel balancing.
The all-electric SUV received five stars and the highest rating ever for occupant protection in tests by the European New Car Assessment Program (EURO NCAP).
