Remember queuing for free rides at Manning Amusement Park in Felixstowe?
Today we look back at the extremely popular park from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The free ride tradition has lasted for many years and took place on the first day of the season, just before the Easter long weekend.
The kids eagerly awaited the doors to open, then walked in to enjoy a morning of free walks.
Our photos show some of the most popular rides of this era, including roller coasters, waltzes and a carousel. What was your favorite ride as a kid?
The park has changed over the years and now includes many different attractions, including a family entertainment center, which was slated to reopen from May 17, indoor mini golf, and mini bowling.
There are also various outlets and restaurants on Beach Street.
