EVRE and Park + join forces to set up 10,000 EV, Auto News, ET Auto charging stations


According to a press release, while EVRE will conceptualize, design, manufacture, establish, operate and maintain the electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Park + will organize and manage the real estate aspect of the hub.

Electric vehicle charging infrastructure player EVRE and Park +, a provider of smart parking solutions, announced on Tuesday their partnership to set up 10,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India in two years.

According to a press release, while EVRE will conceptualize, design, manufacture, establish, operate and maintain the electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Park + will organize and manage the real estate aspect of the hub.

These stations will be established in high demand areas such as shopping complexes, residential townships, shopping malls, hotels and corporate technology parks.

The phased implementation will include the establishment of 300 recharging centers in Delhi NCR by the end of the year, 100 in Bengaluru and 100 in Mumbai and Pune, which will lead to the construction of an infrastructure of basic charging to increase the density of stations in an accumulation for increased adoption of electric vehicles in urban communities.

The partnership involves a personalized revenue sharing model for each hub with respect to its elements, including property category and location, among others. Park + is already present in more than 1,000 apartments, more than 250 businesses and more than 30 shopping centers, according to the company’s statement.
