Alphabet announces new branding to focus on sustainability

Alphabet has renewed its brand image with a redesigned logo and corporate identity to reflect the new strategic direction of the company.

He underscored a strengthened commitment to sustainability and a renewed focus on technology.

“Alphabet is a forward-thinking company. Identifying and anticipating trends, implementing new forms of mobility and technologies, and our overall flexibility in the face of change, are an integral part of our identity. Now is the time for us to adopt a brand appearance to reflect the changes to come in our industry, ”said Markus Deusing, CCO of Alphabet International.

Alphabet plans to promote sustainability by expanding its existing range of eMobility and new mobility options through AlphaElectric. With the implementation of its sustainability advice, Alphabet will offer its customers advice on CO2 targets, CO2 neutrality and other sustainability topics.

“Sustainability is the main topic of the future – in all areas – and we want to play a vital role in shaping that future,” Deusing explained. “This summer, the EU finally announced Europe’s goal of becoming the first continent to be climate neutral by 2050. This clearly increases the need for action from our customers, but also from us as a mobility provider.

“Company cars are not only driven more than twice as often as private vehicles on average, but they also represent over 60% of all new cars sold in Europe. In this context, the electrification and therefore the decarbonization of fleets are of particular importance in order to achieve climate objectives.

Another catalyst for the changes to come is the topic of digitization. The future of fleets will be determined by flexible digital solutions that will make customers’ lives easier and more convenient.

Alphabet says its new brand identity reflects a “deep understanding” of service and customers, and translates its new direction into a new brand promise: “Your mobility. With ease. “

The new logo is sharper and more modern, which Alphabet says reflects the changes within the company, as well as its new corporate values: responsibility, expertise and partnership.
